Artist Biography
Colorado native, floral artist Marsha Ubovich, grew up painting. The daughter of artists, she moved with her family to California as a teenager where she continued to develop her artistic talents through group paint-outs and workshops taken at home and abroad.
A former art director and teacher for the San Marino Unified School District, Ubovich holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art and a California Teaching Credential. She co-authored the School District’s visual standards and was recognized for developing a highly respected Kindergarten through Fifth grade art curriculum.
Marsha Ubovich is an active member of the prestigious National Watercolor Society (NWS), American Watercolor Society (AWS), California Art Club, San Gabriel Fine Arts Association, Monrovia Fine Arts, Mid-Valley Fine Arts League and Watercolor West.
Her work has shown at the Blue Jay Gallery in Blue Jay, the Aztec Gallery in Monrovia, Focus One Gallery in Monrovia and the Crain Art Gallery in San Marino, Whittier Art Gallery, Monrovia Wine and Cheese Gallery, San Gabriel Fine Art Association Spring Festival, Texas Tri-State Art Festival, Beaumont Texas.
